The law enforcement presence on the Grand Strand will be bolstered this week by the influx of about 900 officers. They won't be working, however. Instead they'll be playing golf in the eighth annual National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Golf Classic. The event will be held Tuesday through Thursday, and including practice rounds it will utilize 23 Strand courses.
