Vandals broke eight sprinkler heads at The Knolls Golf Course in south Lincoln early Monday morning. Vandals likely kicked or broke the sprinkler heads, four on the third green and four on the fifth green, after 4 a.m. when the sprinklers came on, according to the police report.
